  • 1/2 c. vegetable shortening
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla butternut flavoring

    Heat oven to 325°. Grease and dust flour in tube pan. Cream shortening, butter and sugar. Add eggs, flour and milk with flavor. Bake about 1 1/2 hours or until sticks done. Let set in pan until cool.
