  • 3 envelopes Knox gelatine
  • 3/4 c. cold water
  • 3 c. milk, heat but don't boil
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. white vanilla
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 qt. cream
  • 7 c. milk

Directions

    Mix gelatine and water. Add scalded milk. Mix well. Add sugar, vanilla and salt.

    Add cream and milk. Freeze. Makes 6 quarts.
