- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. buttermilk or yogurt
- 2 to 3 eggs
- 1/2 c. melted margarine
- 2/3 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Directions

1Combine dry ingredients.

2Stir in buttermilk and eggs.

4Add melted butter (and nuts, if desired).

6Allow batter to rest for at least 1 hour.

7It can be refrigerated overnight.
