- 1 (8 serving size) pkg. cherry Jell-O or any red flavor
- dash of salt
- 1 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1 c. cold water
- ice cubes
- 1 c. diced, peeled apple or pear
- 1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple (unsweetened)
- 1/2 c. sliced celery
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Completely dissolve gelatin and salt in boiling water. Combine cold water and ice cubes to make 2 1/2 cups.

2Add to gelatin, stirring until slightly thickened.

3If necessary, remove any unmelted ice.

4Fold in fruits and celery.

5Spoon into individual dishes or a bowl.

6Chill until set, at least 1 hour. Make 5 cups or 10 servings.
