  • 3 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. Karo light or dark corn syrup
  • 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry pie shell
  • 1 1/2 c. large pieces walnuts

Directions

    Combine eggs, sugar, flour, corn syrup, butter and vanilla; mix well.

    Pour into unbaked pie shell.

    Arrange nuts on top. Bake in lower third of oven at 400° for 15 minutes.

    Reduce heat to 350° for 35 to 40 minutes or until center is set.

    Cool completely.
