- 3/4 stick margarine
- 1 diced white onion
- 6 oz. Uncle Ben's long grain and wild rice
- 6 oz. jar sliced mushrooms with juice
- 1 can beef consomme (not bouillon)
- 1 can water
Directions

1Saute onion in margarine until translucent.

2Add rice and cook lightly.

3Add mushrooms and juice, consomme and water.

4Simmer 5 to 10 minutes.

5Pour in casserole dish and bake, uncovered, for 1 hour at 325°.
