Wild Rice Soup

- 1/3 c. rinsed wild rice
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- water
- 1/3 c. margarine
- 1 c. sliced celery
- 3/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. flour
- 4 c. milk
Directions

1Mix wild rice, salt and water.

2Bring to a boil, then simmer on low for 45 minutes.

3Drain.

4Saute celery and onion in margarine until done.

5Add sauted mixture to salt, pepper, flour and milk and heat. Add wild rice, heat again.

6Serve with chopped parsley and/or bacon, crumbled.
