Ingredients

  • 1 medium pkg. corn chips
  • 1 large head lettuce
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1/4 lb. Cheddar cheese
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • salt to taste
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 can tomato soup or tomato sauce
  • 1 can water
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp. oregano
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder or salt

Directions

    Chop lettuce and onion as for tossed salad.

    Cover and place in the refrigerator.

    Brown ground beef, crumble and pour off excess grease.

    Add flour and stir into meat.

    Add tomato soup or sauce and rest of ingredients.

    Cook until thickened as gravy.
