Yellow Jello Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 large box lemon jello
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 1 1/2 c. cold water
  • 2 c. mini marshmallows
  • 2 sliced bananas
  • 1 can crushed pineapple, drained (save liquid)
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 egg, beaten

Directions

    Take jello and add boiling water, cold water, marshmallows, pineapple (not juice) and bananas.

    Put in an 8 x 12-inch Pyrex dish and set firm, several hours or overnight.

    Take juice from pineapple and add water to make 1 cup.

    Cook juice with sugar, flour and butter.

    Add beaten egg.

    Cook until thickened. Let cool.

    Pour over jello and let get firm in refrigerator.
