Ingredients
- 3 lb. (1.5 kg) chicken pieces, skinned
- 1 c. yoghurt
- 1/2 c. butter
- 10 peppercorns
- 10 cardamon seed
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 small piece ginger, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 2 tsp. paprika
- salt to taste
Directions

1Melt butter in a deep lidded frying pan.

2Add onions, peppercorns, cardamon and cinnamon.

3Fry until onions are golden. Add ginger, garlic, chili powder, paprika and salt to taste.

4Fry for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.

5Add chicken pieces and fry until browned.

6Gradually add the yoghurt, stirring constantly. Cover and cook gently for about 30 minutes.

7Makes 6 servings.
