  • 6 to 8 c. apples, cored, peeled and sliced
  • 1 1/3 c. quick-cooking oats
  • 2/3 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 sticks margarine, softened

Directions

    Place apples in a greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

    Combine all dry ingredients.

    Mix well and add margarine.

    Mix well and sprinkle over top of apples.

    Bake at 400° until the topping is nice and crunchy.
