- 1 c. dried chopped apricots
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. shortening
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 c. frozen orange juice
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Soak apricots in warm water about 20 minutes.

2Cream sugar, shortening and egg.

3Stir in orange juice and 1/4 cup sugar.

4Sift dry ingredients and mix with creamed mixture.

5Drain apricots and stir into batter with nuts.

6Bake at 350° for about 1 hour in greased and floured bread pan.
