Banana-Bacon Sandwich Snack

  • 5 teaspoons almond butter
  • 1 banana
  • 4 slices center-cut bacon
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons powdered sugar

    Spread each slice of bread with 1 1/4 teaspoons almond butter. Slice banana into 1/2-inch-thick slices; arrange slices evenly over 2 bread slices. Cook bacon in a nonstick skillet over medium heat until crisp. Remove bacon from pan; cut each slice in half, and divide evenly over bananas. Top with remaining 2 bread slices, almond butter side down. Add sandwiches to drippings in pan; cook over medium heat on each side 2 minutes or until lightly browned. Cut each sandwich in half diagonally. Sprinkle evenly with powdered sugar.
