  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. Karo Syrup
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1 c. whole half pecans
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell

Directions

    Mix together eggs, syrup, salt, vanilla, sugar and butter. Stir in nuts and pour into pastry shell.

    Bake at 400° for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 350° and continue baking for 30 to 35 minutes.

    Filling should appear slightly less set in the center.
