  • 3 eggs
  • Sucaryl
  • 1 c. Crisco shortening
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped black walnuts
  • 1 small can coconut

Directions

    Beat eggs, measure 3 bottle caps of Sucaryl.

    Pour into eggs. Add shortening; beat until creamy.

    Blend in salt, flour and lemon juice.

    Stir in walnuts and coconut.

    Turn into loaf pan.

    Bake at 350° for about 40 minutes, or until cake tests done.

    Yields 20 slices.
