  • 2 c. bran in 2 c. hot water (let cool)
  • 4 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 3 c. white sugar
  • 4 c. Post Bran Flakes
  • 1 qt. buttermilk
  • 1 c. Crisco oil
  • 5 c. flour
  • 3 Tbsp. soda
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 3 c. raisins, dates or prunes, cooked in water and cool

Directions

    Stir all the ingredients together.

    Let set in fridge for 24 hours.

    Cook at 350° to 400° for 20 minutes.

    Will keep in fridge for 5 to 6 weeks.
