  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 2 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
  • 3 Tbsp. dark corn syrup
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. walnuts, chopped
  • 1/4 c. sifted cocoa
  • 6 Tbsp. brandy

    Evaporated milk may be whipped and substituted for whipped cream in some recipes.

    It triples in volume when whipped. Measure amount desired and pour into ice-cube tray.

    Place in freezer to chill until fine ice crystals from around edge.

    Chill bowl and beaters at same time.

    Pour milk into cold bowl and whip rapidly with cold beaters until stiff and will hold a peak.

    Use immediately.
