  • 9 slices bread or a little less
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 tall can Milnot
  • 1 tsp. vanilla or lemon
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/3 c. butter
  • 4 egg whites for icing

Directions

    Break bread in small pieces.

    Place in bowl with 1 cup of sugar, Milnot, milk, vanilla, egg yolks and melted butter.

    Mix well.

    Pour into a 10 x 8 x 2-inch pan.

    Bake at 450° for 30 to 40 minutes.
