Cheddar Cheese Pear Pie

- 5 ripe pears, thinly sliced
- 13 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 18 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 unbaked pie shell
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 12 cup all-purpose flour
- 14 cup sugar
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 13 cup butter, melted
Directions

1Preheat oven to 425*.

2Combine in a large bowl the filling ingredients and then pour into the pie crust.

3Rinse out the bowl and then re-use it to make the topping, (I hate using more dishes than neccesary!)

4Combine topping ingredients and then press over the filling.

5Pop it in the oven and bake at 425* for 25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden.

6Cool for about 15 minutes before serving.

7It is best served warm.
