- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 10 chili pequins
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 (12 oz.) can salted cashews, peanuts or mixed nuts
- 1/4 tsp. chili powder
Directions

1Pour olive oil into heavy frying pan.

2Crush chili pequins and add to oil along with garlic powder; mix well with oil.

3Add nuts and toast over medium heat for 7 to 8 minutes, stirring constantly.

4Mix seasonings and nuts together thoroughly.

5When nuts are toasted, sprinkle with chili powder; stir so chili powder is well mixed with nuts.

6Pour into serving bowl.

7Makes about 2 cups.
