  • 1 pkg. dark chocolate cake mix
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 tsp. almond extract
  • 1/3 c. milk
  • 5 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Directions

    Combine first 4 ingredients in a 13 x 9-inch pan, mixing well. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.

    Combine milk, butter and sugar in saucepan.

    Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

    Stir in chocolate chips until melted.

    Pour over warm cake.

    Cool for several hours before cutting.
