  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1/2 c. cooking oil
  • 1 c. oil
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Put butter, oil, cocoa and water in saucepan and bring to a boil.

    Sift together flour and sugar.

    Pour chocolate over dry ingredients and mix well.

    Then add buttermilk, baking soda, eggs and vanilla.

    Pour into greased broiler pan or jelly roll pan. Bake for 20 minutes at 400°.

    While hot, frost.
