- 1 c. fresh bread crumbs (white, wheat or rye) or regular bread crumbs
- 6 Tbsp. margarine
- 6 oz. Gruyere cheese, sliced down into strips
- 1/4 c. dry white wine
- 3/4 to 1 pt. heavy cream or 3/4 c. mayonnaise
- 1/2 c. chopped shallots or chopped onion
- 2 (3 oz.) cans sliced mushrooms or mushroom caps
- 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- 1 lb. fresh scallops
Directions

1Wash scallops.

2Drain.

3Slice in half and set aside.

4Saute onion or chopped shallots in frying pan.

5Add canned mushrooms and juice.

6Saute with shallots or onions.

7Add parsley, white wine and then cream.

8Saute.
