- 1 c. boiling water
- 1/4 c. margarine (1 stick)
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 c. flour, sifted
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 4 eggs
Directions

1Bring water and sugar and margarine to a boil.

2Add baking powder and flour all at once and stir quickly until it becomes like a paste and comes away from the pot.

3Let it cool; when cooled add eggs, one at a time and beat after each addition.

4Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet.

5Bake at 450° for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 350° and bake about 20 minutes or until golden color. After cooled, slice to prepare for filling.
