Dill Pickles

Ingredients

  • cucumbers (small), enough to make 7 to 8 qt.
  • 8 garlic cloves
  • 8 sprigs dill
  • 3 qt. water
  • 1 qt. vinegar
  • 1 c. canning salt
  • 4 tsp. dill seed

Directions

    Wash cucumbers and pack in jars along with 1/2 teaspoon in bottom of each jar and 1/2 teaspoon on top of cucumbers.

    To each jar add 1 small clove garlic and 1 sprig dill.

    Bring water, vinegar and salt to a boil.

    Pour over cucumbers and seal.
