- 1 c. self-rising flour, sifted
- 1 c. unbolted white corn meal, sifted
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. water
Directions

1Mix sifted flour and meal together.

2Add other ingredients. Mix well.

3Pour about 2 tablespoons of oil in bread pan (13 x 6-inch) and heat in oven.

4Pour the corn bread mix into the heated pan.

5Stir.

6Bake at 350° for about 40 minutes.
