- 5 to 6 oz. grated mild Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 lb. cooked crumbled bacon
- 2 c. milk
- salt and pepper to taste
- 7 eggs
- 6 to 8 slices white bread
Directions

1Butter a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

2Trim crusts from bread, then butter.

3Lay in bottom of baking dish.

4Sprinkle bacon over bread.

5Combine eggs, milk, cheese, salt and pepper; pour over bread.

6Let sit for 1 hour or overnight.

7Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes, until puffy and brown.
