  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. almond extract
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 unbaked pie shell
  • nutmeg

Directions

    Mix sugar, butter, salt and flavoring; add eggs, then milk. Pour into pastry shell; cook 15 minutes in 450° oven.

    Sprinkle top of pie with nutmeg.

    Reduce heat and bake at 350° for 25 minutes more.
