  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. Wesson oil
  • 2 tsp. vanilla butternut flavoring
  • 3 c. chopped apples
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 small pkg. dates, chopped

Directions

    Beat eggs; sift dry ingredients.

    Gradually add the dry ingredients to the beaten eggs alternating with the Wesson oil; beat well.

    Add fruit and nuts; work well into mixture.

    Bake in prepared tube pan at 350° for about 1 hour or until done.

    Eat and enjoy plain with whipped cream or ice cream.
