- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. butter or vegetable oil
- 3/4 c. water
Directions

1Preheat electric skillet to 375° (for crisp chicken, preheat to 425°).

2Cut chicken into serving size pieces.

3Combine flour, salt and pepper.

4Melt butter or vegetable oil in skillet.

5Dip chicken into seasoned flour.

6Place in skillet and cook until chicken is golden brown on all sides.

8Cover skillet, lower temperature to 250°.

9Continue cooking for about 45 minutes.
