  • 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 c. butter or vegetable oil
  • 3/4 c. water

    Preheat electric skillet to 375° (for crisp chicken, preheat to 425°).

    Cut chicken into serving size pieces.

    Combine flour, salt and pepper.

    Melt butter or vegetable oil in skillet.

    Dip chicken into seasoned flour.

    Place in skillet and cook until chicken is golden brown on all sides.
