- 2 tbsp Baking powder
- 1 dash Salt
- 1 bunch Warm water
Directions

1Sift dry ingredients.

2Slowly add water and shortening, pinching dough while mixing.

3Work dough until all ingredients mixed in, but do not overwork dough.

4(Optional: let dough rest for several minutes)

5When ready squeeze dough to form ball.

6Form disk over fist or back of hand.

7Fry in hot oil until golden both sides; 5 min.

8Drain on paper.

9There are several versions and you can use milk instead of water.
