- 2 c. quick cooking oats (uncooked)
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 c. packed light brown sugar
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. butter, melted
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 c. candy coated chocolate pieces, divided
- 1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand
Directions

1Combine first 6 ingredients.

2Mix well.

3Add butter and mix until mixture resembles crumbs.

4Reserve 1 1/2 cups crumb mixture. Press remainder in greased 15 x 10 x 1-inch jellyroll pan.

5Bake at 375° for 10 minutes.

6Remove from oven.

7Heat 2 tablespoons oil in skillet.

8Add 1 cup chocolate pieces.

9Melt; remove from heat.

10Add Eagle Brand milk.

11Mix well.

12Spread mixture over baked crust. Combine reserved 1/2 cup crumb mixture and remaining 1/2 cup chocolate pieces.

13Sprinkle evenly over chocolate mixture and press lightly.

14Bake at 350° or until golden brown.

15Cut into bars. Makes 4 dozen bars.
