- 1 pkg german chocolate cake without pudding (18.25 ounce)
- 1 pkg coconut-pecan frosting mix (9.9 ounce)
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 4 eggs
- 6 ounces semi sweet chocolate morsels
- sifted powdered sugar (optional)
Directions

1Combine first five ingredients in a large mixing bowl.

2Beat on low speed with an electric mixer for 4 minutes.

3Stir in chocolate morsels.

4Spoon into a greased and floured 10 inch bunt pan.

5Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 5-10 minutes, or until a wooden toothpick interested in the center comes out clean.

6Cool in pan 10 minutes, remove from pan and cool completely on a wire rack.

7Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
