- 1 large head cabbage
- 1 c. raw rice
- 1 1/2 lb. ground round (raw)
- 1 large onion, grated
- 2 eggs
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 pkg. sauerkraut
- 2 cans tomato soup
Directions

1Put cabbage (whole head) in boiling water.

2Boil for 10 minutes until leaves begin to separate.

3Separate leaves.

4Parboil 1 cup of rice (makes 3 cups parboiled).

5Mix rice, ground round, onion, eggs, salt and pepper.

6Stuff cabbage leaves with mixture and roll up, tucking in the ends.

7Place cabbage rolls in large pot, placing one on top of the other.

8Mix tomato soup and sauerkraut and pour over all cabbage rolls.

9Cook on top of stove on low for 2 hours.
