  • 2 c. onions, chopped fine
  • 2 green peppers or one big bell pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 lb. or more ground beef
  • 2 cans whole kernel yellow corn, drained
  • 2 cans cream of tomato soup
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • black pepper and salt to taste
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. cold water

Directions

    Cook onions, peppers and butter for 5 minutes.

    Add meat and allow to brown.

    Add corn, soup, sugar, salt and black pepper, simmer for 15 minutes.

    Stir in flour blended with water.

    Cook for 5 minutes.

    Delicious with cornbread or main dish.
