Ingredients

  • 3 c. water
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 3 c. instant potato flakes
  • 1 c. powdered Carnation milk
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 c. flour

Directions

    Boil water and butter.

    Add potato flakes and milk, then add sugar, salt and flour.

    Cool and work on a floured surface.

    Roll thin and bake on lefse griddle.

    Remove to damp towel, covered with waxed paper.

    Place sheet or paper over each lefse.
