  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 large or 2 small lemons
  • 1 unbaked pie shell
  • 2 egg whites, beaten

Directions

    Cream butter, then add sugar and egg yolks.

    Beat until very light.

    Add juice and grated rinds of lemons, flour and milk.

    Add beaten egg whites last.

    Bake slowly at 325° in pie shell about 1 hour or until brown.
