Marinated Carrots

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. carrots
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 green pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 c. salad oil
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. mustard
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. salt and pepper
  • 1 can tomato soup

Directions

    Peel and cut carrots in fairly thick slices.

    Boil until tender.

    Put half of carrots in large bowl.

    Cover with onion and pepper slices.

    Add remaining carrots.

    Do not stir.

    Combine remaining ingredients for dressing, mixing well.

    Pour over carrots.

    Let stand overnight.

    Stir before serving.
