- 1 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1 c. quick oats
- 1 stick oleo
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/3 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
Directions

1Pour the boiling water over the oats.

2Set aside. Cream together the oleo, brown sugar and white sugar. Add the eggs.

3Mix together the flour, baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon.

4Pour oatmeal over creamed mixture and blend.

5Add the flour mix and 1 teaspoon vanilla.

6Mix all together just to blend; don't overbeat (I did that at first).

7Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes. Delicious served with whipped cream.
