- 2 c. milk, heated to scalding
- 4 c. coarse bread crumbs
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 slightly beaten eggs
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. seeded raisins
- 1 tsp. cinnamon or nutmeg
Directions

1Pour milk over the bread crumbs; cool.

2Add the remaining ingredients.

3Pour into a 1 1/2-quart buttered casserole pan. Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
