- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 4 c. flour
Directions

1Scald milk with butter or margarine; cool to warm, but not real hot.

2Add to sugar, salt and yeast.

3Stir in 2 cups of flour. Add beaten egg, then remaining flour.

4Form into a ball on floured surface and knead until it forms a ball.

5Put in greased bowl and let rise until doubled, about 20 to 30 minutes.
