Pasta With Asparagus

- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp. dried red pepper flakes
- 2 to 3 dashes hot pepper sauce
- 1/4 c. olive oil
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 lb. fresh asparagus, cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 lb. elbow or mostaccioli macaroni, cooked
Directions

1In a skillet, cook garlic, red pepper flakes and hot pepper sauce in oil and butter for 2 to 3 minutes.

2Add asparagus, salt and pepper.

3Saute until asparagus is crisp-tender, about 8 to 10 minutes.

4Add Parmesan cheese; mix well.

5Pour over hot pasta and toss to coat.

6Serve immediately.
