  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. dark corn syrup (Log Cabin)
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp. melted oleo
  • 3/4 c. pecans (I use 1 to 1 1/2 c.)

    Beat all ingredients together and pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake in oven at 400° until rim of crust begins to brown slightly. Decrease heat to 300° for 45 minutes, until filling is set.
