Ingredients

  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 c. dark corn syrup
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. pecans
  • 2 Tbsp. melted margarine

Directions

    Mix eggs, corn syrup, sugar, vanilla, salt and margarine. Stir in pecans.

    Pour in ungreased (baked) pastry shell.

    Bake in a 400° oven for 15 minutes, then lower heat to 350° and bake for 30 to 35 minutes.

    Filling should be set slightly less in center than around edge.
