  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 c. light Karo syrup
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. pecans
  • 1 unbaked pie shell

Directions

    In a large bowl, stir together the first 5 ingredients until blended.

    Stir in 1 cup chopped pecans.

    Pour into pie shell.

    Add 1/2 cup pecan halves on top.

    Bake for 15 minutes at 400°, then reduce heat to 300° and bake for 30 minutes.
