  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 eggs, well beaten
  • 1 c. white syrup
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. pecan meat

    Cream together sugar and butter and mix all ingredients well, adding pecans last.

    Line pie pan with pie crust; pour mixture in and bake at moderate 350° or so until solid.
