  • 1 c. Golden Eagle syrup
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 c. oleo, melted
  • 1 (9-inch) pie shell (deep)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 whole eggs, beaten
  • 1 heaping c. pecans
  • 2 tsp. vinegar

Directions

    Combine sugar, syrup, salt, oleo and vanilla and mix well. Add vinegar and mix well.

    Mix in eggs and pecans; stir well. Pour into pie shell.

    Bake in preheated oven at 350° for about 45 minutes.
