  • 3 egg whites
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Directions

    Beat egg whites and salt until soft peaks form.

    Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff peaks form, about 5-8 minutes.

    Add vanilla and pecans.

    Drop by teaspoonful on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 200° for 50 to 55 minutes or until firm.

    Yield: 3 dozen.
