  • 1 stick margarine, softened
  • 1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp. melted margarine
  • 3/4 c. light brown sugar, packed
  • dash of salt
  • 2/3 c. pecans, chopped
