  • 3 or 4 medium onions, chopped
  • 1/3 c. olive oil
  • 1 c. dried lima beans, cooked and drained
  • 1 lb. can tomatoes
  • 1/2 tsp. salt or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp. fresh ground black pepper
